It is model # 825, jaws are 7/16 x 5/8 x 2-1/2 long. I wonder where the swivel base came from, it does not look like the original. The grey looks like the original color that they used years ago. Is the date stamped on the vise. Really nice vise, lucky to pick this up. Even if it was expensive you earned a You **** award.

Orchid: very cool and how does one score a nice little "new" old Wilton bullet? Ebay or ??? by the way you have amassed quite a collection of Wilton bullet vises since I've been a member besides the little ones you are showing with the new one.

care to share a few pictures of all the Wiltons that have found their way to what looks like your kitchen?

nice find

Yes it is a model 825 and the color of the base is not the same, I wonder what year they stop making the 2 1/2 vise..

Yes Ebay, had to pay 400.00 a little much but where else you going to find a NOS vise of this year, time is money and I just have to have the color matched to repaint the swivel base.. no jaws or anything. just put it on the shelf and its ready to view..

I agree, 176. Made in January of 1976, Again nice vise. I was just wondering where the base came from. I had to make two for my 825's.

WOW very nice, I also work in a machine shop but never have to make parts I need.. you have any pic of it completed, you ever make any for the 2 in vise ?

No that is as far as I got, they are finished but had other projects to do. I have a couple of the baby vises but they have the swivel bases already.
