Not top quality merch but you can't beat the price! $40 got me this 14" chop saw, 30" sheet metal brake and a bead roller. Yeah, it's HF basura but for $40, why not? It's all lightly used and in great shape. Turns out the sellers father had a stroke and his son was cleaning out the garage.

I asked him if there was anything else and he said yes but he was gonna throw this away 'cause it was broken..............

He said, "it's yours if you want it". Again......why not?
The collar that holds the table is toast but the motor runs great and the spindle is true. Not sure what I'm gonna do with it, anybody need parts?

Oh yeah, don't really need the chop saw, I've got a nice Milwaukee so I sold the HF chop saw to a guy at work for $30. So........I basically got the brake, bead roller and the parts drill press for $10! I love CL!

Actually, I might could use a part from that drill press! I have a similar model, although different brand. Same COO and it looks like they are made by the same manufacturer. I'll get more details tomorrow!

I'd cruise on over to grizzly and look for a similar model drill press, the current model looks similar and runs $24 for the casting. I have an older grizzly in storage that looks identical to yours. I am sure a call to grizzly with you column diameter and rack width would get you a good fix on the cheap and make that DP work like new.

As far as the collar on the drill press, you might take a look at the local HF or NT. Most of this type/grade of drill presses are all similar enough that a collar from another like quality/pedigree one might just fit.

I know you can order replacement parts for NY and HF drill presses. The one in your pic is almost identical to a recent (current ?) offering from HF
