A few years ago the wife wanted PVC railing installed on the front porch. To save a few $$$ I did it myself and everything was fine. Fast forward to now and the center post in the middle of the railing is loose. It's attached to the brink with a pvc post mount like pictured. You can make the whole section wobble by barely pushing on it. I have no idea how to fix the problem. Any help would be great.

something is broke or loosened up. are those anchors into the brick? I'd deconstruct it looking for broken pvc or pulled fasteners. wobble it as you take each piece off to see if you can see the issue.

I think I never really got a good hold in the brick. I don't think there is much left for me to grab a hold of.

yup sounds like you got a little bite but over the seasons it let loose. epoxy like they say and let it cure fully. easy peasy. oh vacuum out the holes when you drill the larger or longer holes. don't cheap out on these. make sure you use a masonary drill bit

If all else fails to get the post sturdy, you can always replace it with a floor to ceiling post like your corner ones.

As above, epoxy anchors. Drill a little deeper if you can. Blow out concrete dust with air compressor and long nozzle. Use sika flex anchoring adhesive or quickcrete 2 part epoxy (both in standard caulking tubes) and sold in big box stores. I like to take a gloved finger and work the epoxy into the threads of the stud (in cold weather). In hot weather it flows well enough to simply twist around many times to distribute. Wait 24hr to cure the adhesive, then tighten the bolts. No more issues.
