Not getting Email notice--sometimes

So, I subscribe to a thread. Sometimes I get an email notice, which is what I want. Sometimes I don't.

I check my "Thread Tools" and it says "Subscribed". I go to "Advance" to check my "Notification Type" and "Instant Email Notification" is selected.

What else can I do to get my notices?

I did a quick search for my issue and either it is not here or I missed it.

What I have found in the past I cancel subscriptions and start a fresh setting them again to instant. If you have to many you may find that an issue as well.

I have a bunch of subscriptions but as time goes by most of them have run their course. I still want to be notified is one comes back to life.

Even the new ones I seem to miss the notifications.

I would suggest you try cleaning up as I posted and see what happens as I know in the psat it worked for me.
