Not much, but it's mine!

This is my very first garage. I've worked out of sheds, carports, under the tree in the back yard, and begged and borrowed shop space. But this one is mine. It's not big enough, cool enough, or bad enough. But... it's just enough for me to get started on some projects in. Future plans include a 20X24 shop next door with 14' walls and a lift, as well as pouring a slab under the 24x26 pole barn behind the garage and walling it in.

Here's some pics of my build...

Finally, stuff is in and some much needed work is beginning to take place.

The project took twice as long as I calculated, and I went over budget by about 10%. All in all, I guess that's not too bad. I just put heat in a couple of weeks ago, which makes life much better.

What do u use for heat?

Just using a very inexpensive and simple double tank top 30,000 btu lp gas heater from Lowes. I thought it was worth a shot to see if it would at least take the chill off. Fortunately, I've found that it works surprisingly well. Even on the low setting I can work in shirt sleeves even though it's in the 30's outside.
