Not really flooring, but concrete sealing

Had the footers and stemwall poured. Gonna have to wait to get floor and walls up. Been getting comments and concerns about protecting the concrete through the winter from water absorption and possible freeze. What are some suggestions for protecting the top and sides? As can be seen, the top is rough and the sides have a good deal of pitting. Any suggestions and experiences would be appreciated. Thanks.

Look into Ghostshield products. But be aware that they perform great but may inhibit you using other coatings.

I had a very similar situation, check out my build thread. I used a similar product, then after the shop was up I applied it again.

I would grade the outside and then gravel the inside to keep water from sitting and possibly causing uneven frost heave.
For the pitting (honeycomb) I would parge or sack the wall depending on the finish you after.
Coatings or sealers could make it hard to parge or sack later on but all depending on what look and finish the end game is.
Depending on how long it is going to sit for I would also think about protecting the anchor bolts so they are still easy to use and when your ready to build.
