not responding to pm's?

I have requested to purchase several items in the classified section from several different members, but no one is responding back to my pm's.

Is this common? Do people not check their messages often, or do they just not want to deal with a new forum member?

You can change the setting in your user cp so you can save a copy of sent messages.
