Ok you guys have some of the best garage's on the net and we all love seeing the projects and photos you all place here for us all to follow,
Now I love reading this stuff and dreaming of one day owning my very own garage but for now all my work is shade tree .
So how about all the shade tree mechanics placing there pics of there tool setup's .
I'll start with my box I keep in the cupboard at the top of the stairs.

Nice collection of tools to start off with.

It's more than I started with actually and I was as backyard as they came when I was in high school.

I wish I had pictures of my little toolbox that I carried in my truck and pulled it out when I got home to work on things. My workbench was constructed of two empty 55-gallon oil drums with a piece of plywood spanning across. My solvent tank was an empty 5-quart ice cream pail with gasoline as the cleaning media. Pretty backyard but it worked and I kept feeding my thirst for learning the trade.

Sometimes I think I spoiled my son by him not having that same experience as he's always had a nice heated and equipped shop to work in.:headscrat

My first garage was just big enough to shoehorn my POS Chevy Corsica into for a one-time photo op. It would either fit the car or my crummy tools. I did all of my work in a driveway for 13 years, including a transmission replacement on my Chevy Suburban. Your toolbox looks to be a proper setup.
