Not sure what I have

I picked this up at an auction years ago. I couldn't see the press, just heard auctioneer say press (it was sitting with a bunch of hydraulic presses). I know nothing about it and can't seem to find anything online. Date of manufacture says 4 of 1941. I have no use for this and it only takes up space. I hate to scrap it if someone has a use for it or it is worth anything. It is very heavy and looks to be heavy duty.

Manley is a well respected name, someone will come along with knowledge greater than mone. Might help to say where you and the press are at, someone may be within driving range who is interested.

It appears to have two speeds (?) and features a built in ratcheting arbor press off to the side. As mentioned, add your location to your profile if you want it gone.

That baby is cuul. I'm not big on refurbishing old equipment just because I'm too busy but that one would be snatched up quick if I were anywhere close.

I hope someone here that has the time to bring it back to life gets their hands on it.

That is a hydraulic press i have one in working condition its not going anywhere this thing is a beast

Manley Screw press with a standard arbor press attachment. It's probably about a 20 ton capacity from what I could find. They built them til they converted to hydraulic systems.

What you have is a very high quality mechanical (not hydraulic) press.
