Mods can move this if it's in the wrong area.
I've got an old block building that wicks moisture in really bad.
Is there something I could paint it with? I've seen basement paint that is for moisture control but I'm not sure. Should I do both sides inside and out?

First, let the block dry out. No paint will stick to something damp.

Get a primer that is specifically for masonry/block. The first coat is the worst, trying to work paint into all of the pores. A good airless sprayer works well for this or roll with a long nap roller. Use a brush where necessary to force paint into all the little nooks.

Finish coat can be any good quality paint. Don't do the inside until a couple of weeks after the exterior.

Right on. I believe they call the first coat "block filler".

Ill post up in the gallery before too long. Still gathering stuff for the wiring.
I'll check that primer out.
Think I should pressure wash the outside first?
Thanks for the info guys!

It wouldn't hurt, but that will add a couple of days of drying before you can start priming.
