After using an cheap metal shed, we finally build a decent building last summer. Its nothing compared to some on this site, but its mine, and I want to brag, so here you go.

12' X 16' Gambrel roof

No such thing. That turned out very nice.

There is -er, was - a shed going up like this outside the town where we live. They stopped at the framing. Been sitting a very long time. Last week the rafters finally fell over. If we didn't already have a big shed, I'd have stopped long ago and offered to buy the parts.

Thanks everybody, I think it turned out really well, especially since my biggest project before this was a picnic table.

Prochedude, I was only home weekends at the time, it took four weekends I think to get to that point. This was mostly me and the wife. My dad, her dad and brother helped with the siding, and and the roof rafters and decking. Most everything else was the two of us.

Cost was about $2100, one plywood blade, and a small chunk of my left forearm. Buying one from a box store or the local shed builders was over 4 grand.

wasn't aware you could buy left forearms at the box store, WOW are they expensive
