Not that it really matters but I did notice a slight difference in my #2 Phillips tips the other day. I was wondering if a Snap-On Rep could clarify this for me. Both screwdrivers have exact same model number how ever one says "Pat Pend" and the other has a Patent # listed on the handle.

Heres one...

The other...

I notice everything and just want to make sure the guy I bought one from did not switch out the shank on me!!!

Thanks in advance - Mike

Hm, other then the breeched depth around the "blades", they both seem to be very close.
I'm guessing a very small, fractional, mechanical deal on however they cut those tips. The acr ribs look to have all relatively equal, horizontal grooves in towards the center.
The blade thickness looks to be the same too

...stop being so critical!!! lol :bounce:
...j/k....
(I'm like that too depending on what the tool may be)

Do these fit well?(for anyone who has stuff from WERA,WIHA, PBSwiss etc, nut just for snap on junkies that think its the best just because...) They just don't look to have the best shape to me.

IMO the Wera P2 fits much better than the Snap-on.
