What tool trucks have you guys and girls seen on the road in the last month or so? You don't have to be a tool truck customer to post your sightings. The purpose of this thread to see how often garage journal members see tool trucks on the road. I'm especially interested in the small town sightings and/or rural areas sightings. Cornwell trucks are especially hard to find in my neighborhood. I saw the snap on truck on Wednesday November 17 @ auto body shop in Elkton,VA. Thank you for your time and patience with my obsession.

Mac drives by once a week. Oh well. Matco sold jiffylube a box 3 weeks ago, haven't seen him since.

For once I actually owe snap on money, hasn't been here in 2 weeks. Doesn't hurt my feelings, I only pay in person. Got a few things on order and for warranty with him.

I’ll see my SnapOn guy later today when I meet up with him to pay off my torque wrench. He gave me a great deal on a 1/4” tech angle because I always pay in cash. I asked if he minded if I broke up the payment between 2 paychecks and he was fine with that. He insisted that I take the wrench though, even though I told him I didn’t need it right away and was fine with him hanging onto it until I made the second payment. He’s a good dude. Still haven’t used the torque wrench though lol.

I was out of town last week for work and haven’t seen either Mac or Matco this month. SnapOn is definitely the big dog around here though, with the biggest presence of all the tool trucks.

Techangles are so worth the money. Great wrenches.

Yes, they sure are. I got the 1/4” drive brand new for $500. I bought a 6 month old like new 1/2” drive tech angle black chrome for $250, and I the 3/8” comparable Matco with a calibration sticker that was 6 weeks old for $200 from a tech getting out of the field. So now I have a tech angle or equivalent in all 3 drive sizes for less than $1000 and I’m ecstatic. I’m **** about torquing things and even torque the scope rings on my rifles - it’s the engineer in me.

Saw a BIG Cornwell in Alcoa TN this week. Haven't seen Cornwell around here for over a decade. It was TN tagged so not just passing thru.

I see a Snap-on truck(s) about once a week, don't know if it is the same or multiple trucks, I suspect multiple. I see a Matco truck once in a while, but I know him, I've bought some very nice tools from him, he's a super dude. There is a MAC truck that comes to my workplace once per month or so, but I never see him on the road otherwise.

MAC every Wednesday and SnapOn on Thursday. No Matco truck shows up which is unfortunate.

I live in the country. Even living out here, I used to see a Snap-on truck EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. :)

I don't see a tool truck near as often anymore. When I do see them, Snap-on is the most common.

(Some long time members here might get the joke.)

Supposedly having a matco guy starting soon. He came in and introduced himself, we shall see if he actually makes it to the route.
