Hi to all as the title says ..............but we all know the truth. I live in france about half way down and enjoy the pleasures of rural life, mowing the grass, mending the mower, the tractor, the washing machine, the bicycles, I guess you get the drift. Most of my past was spentin the motor trade working on landrovers in the latter part before moving here to "retire" but a lifetime of the habit of working means that hasn't happened. I used to collect landrovers and have a few left but these last few years my interest is in older trials and classic motorcycles, nothing of high value so ok to go out and have fun in the woods with. I've read and enjoyed reading so much on this forum though not had the time to post or join but decided it's time I did.
When I can persuade my 12 year old to help I'll put some pics on if anyone can suggest what will provide the most interst

Welcome from Colorado USA. There is a guy here in Durango that does LS conversations on Defenders and I used to make "stock" cross members for diesel conversions for him.

Hi Bob:beer: enjoy your retirement first and foremost  this forum likes whatever you have to share. My best bike was a Sammy Miller Aerial 500 trials, the one with the oil tank in the frame. I think it was a1950s machine. Show us what ya got. OH and welcome to GJ.:)

A few pics
I've lost a hard drive with most of my pics on hopefully being retrieved these below are a few on this pc.
If anyone is interested in older small plant I've a "tusker" as well as the "powerfab" shown and a 50's dumper.
I have an ariens GT17 my late friend brought back from the states when he was offshore powerboating and wanted it for his horse paddock but like 99% of what I have doesn't work - yet. Oh and of course land rovers 1950 -2003 two of which actually work

Hey Firecracker
One of my friends here in france rode trials for BSA when Sammy Miller was with them, don't think they got on and while I'm name dropping Mick Andrews came from my area and at the age of 17 worked at the next garage up the road. I used to drive past his practise ground up in the derbyshire hills in the 70's once saw him perched on his bike on top of a rock that I would need a double extension ladder to climb
