On what looks to be a cordless drill I would think it wouldn't be strong enough to loosen them all. Maybe if it were a large cordless or air impact. It looks like from the website it says it's a lugnut "starter".

I guess to use something like this to start the lugs you would have to use your fingers to place the nuts into the sockets on the tool then use the tool to place them on the lugs. Wouldn't it be easier to just put the nuts on the lugs instead of into the tool THEN put the tool onto the lugs? Seems like one extra step in the process and money wasted on a tool that's not really effective. Good concept though.

If you look at the rest of the site, it looks like it's for car manufacturer, they also have a seat installer . . . just what every fashionable snob garage needs right? "Honey, I decided to put the _____ (fill in your brand) on the lift and yank the seats -- there was a bit of dust on the frame rails." I suspect the wrench is just to stick the lugs on while moving down assembly line.

I can see that on an assembly line. There is probably an associated feeder for the lug nuts. You stick that thing into the feeder and pick up the lug nuts in one motion, turn around, put them all on the car and spin it until it is "finger tight", the car moves down the track, and the next guy zips them all on to torque with a air wrench.

we used something like that when i worked for gm it didn't really work to good i chould do it just as fast 1 at atime but when u do a wheel every min u have to start every lug by hand grab that gun line up 5 shockets and run them on then tighten each one to spec.
