I know it's not technically 'new', but new to me and none the less, I am extremely pleased with my newest addition to the Fluke Addiction. I picked up an older, fully functional Fluke 1621 Earth Ground Resistance Tester for $100 and am very happy with my purchase! I was looking at an Ideal 61-796 ground resistance tester, but I couldn't pass this deal up.
When I picked it up, I was kind of expecting it to be bricked, as the seller didn't post any pictures of it with the screen on, but was very pleasantly surprised when I opened it up and it functioned properly.
I have to get a set of extended leads, preferably on winding spools for it, but even without the leads, I still think I did pretty good on the deal! I am currently looking at Ideal's TL796 lead set and spikes, as they are pretty nice leads and the set is very reasonable at $130 shipped.
~$230 total investment for an earth ground resistance tester... can't complain!
