I'm planning a decent size purchase and found good deals on ntxtools but I'm cautious of others previous experience. Have they improved? I was going to order from tooltopia too but slight saving through nxtools. Any recommendations welcome.

I've had both good and bad luck with them. When they come through its a good deal. When it flops I've gotten my money back reasonably.

The price you pay for the cheapest distributor is generally a longer wait. As long as you're in no rush go for it. If you want your stuff within a week then stick with tooltopia.

It took me a little over a month to get the only order I placed with them and I had to contact them to finally get that accomplished. Fortunately, I was in no rush so it wasn't the end of the world or anything. I definitely agree that if time is important than go with someone like tooltopia. I really only saved probably $30 or so on a $350ish order so it's all about whether time or money is more important to you.

I've bought a few things from them. To date I've never been burned but there has been some delays getting it and I've also been reimbursed when they couldn't honor the deal. I'm convinced it's not worth the worry dealing with them. I'd rather buy from Tooltopia or CPO or wait for other sales.

Thanks fellas, I'll pass on them. Savings isn't going to be worth the wait. Too bad they're the only ones that have the Ford Exhaust flange stud sockets I'm looking for. I'll probably just order that from them.

I just ordered around $300 of tools from them. It came in three days and was fifty dollars cheaper than tooltopia.

NTX is great. I've bought a bunch from them, and ship times are super-fast.

The only time there's ever a wait is if it's a manufacturing delay, since they drop-ship most of their stuff, but, y'know, it happens.

I've had delays in shipping from most any place I order from repeatedly.

I placed three orders with them in the past two months. Both shipped same or next day and arrived within 3 days. I'm very happy with them, my new go-to.

I think the key is to remember they drop ship items and don't maintain a physical inventory, so it's a gamble about whether an item is actually available or not.

I got pissed when I tried to buy a crank pulley remover from them on ebay. After using a buy it now I learned it was going to be >30 days to get my item, when I needed it sooner than that for a timing belt job. My opinion is that if you're listing something for sale on an auction site you should have it in you possession first. Based on that experience I won't do business with them or with any of their other names (there are 5 or 6 tool warehouses that are all the same address and name). I did get my money back so they aren't thieves, but still left me frustrated.

I've purchased from them and ended cancelling the order and purchasing it else where after waiting a month.

Placed first order Sunday, has yet to be charged to my account. I ordered from Tooltopia Thursday afternoon and received Saturday. That was some quick delivery.

I have read some of the posts about NTX but I gave them a try. When I purchased from them they gave good customer service and my order arrived within a reasonable amount of time. If the manufacturer failed to fill their order in a timely manner then I would say it was the factory causing the problem or too high of demand. So far I am satisfied with the way NTX does business and they do have lower prices on a lot of stuff.

When I purchased from Tooltopia I got my order in a timely manner but they did not have the problem with the factory moving at the time the order was placed.

I'm not worried yet. Their prices are good so hopefully the process makes it worth it.

My order will take up to two weeks to fulfill. Amazon Prime shopping has spoiled me. So the wait is on. Btw the customer service was friendly and prompt.

It was been almost 3 weeks now. Account was finally charged earlier this week so I hope that is a good sign.

Lucky you, I guess I ordered some hard to find tools. It'll take up to two weeks.

Will you post some photos of these tools when you get them? I don't know who makes these tools but I heard Armstrong moved and got flooded. There is no telling how long it will take for Armstrong to be up and running again.

For sure. They were one of the few places that still had the VIM V603 sockets for Ford exhaust manifolds. I don't know if it was that or something else that took awhile to get.
