I've got a "digital life" security system on our house from AT&T. The front door has a digital deadbolt that communicates with the alarm system. It logs locking and unlocking by user PIN and you can set time specific PINS for multiple users. This in conjunction with a porch mounted camera and garage door controller make a pretty slick system.

The lock is a kwikset, but I'm not sure how it would function in standalone mode. All programming on the alarm system is via an Apple IOS App.

What kind of lock do you have on your door currently? If you have an Adams Rite narrow stile deadlock you can convert to a programmable deadbolt using their eForce 150 platform with prox or Weigand. If you have a bored or mortise lock you can choose from Schlage, Sargent or Yale.

I work for a company that builds and sells maglocks, but would need to hear more about the door before recommending a maglock.

Pushbutton Lock for the Door knob would be great and use a regular keyed deadbolt above to control the times it is accessible. One person to lock and unlock the deadbolt.....code for the bottom lock goes to employees. Just a thought
