Anyone ever had a Numeridex cabinet? I wasn't in the market for any other cabinets, but I found one on Craigslist that I thought I'd put in the garage. Then I got the measurements and it was the perfect size to go on a shelving unit we have in the house(39x18.5x11). It seems like a sturdy 2 drawer cabinet where the drawers open full length and it's not dented or anything. I googled it and I get a variety of hits, but mostly auctions. Just trying to get some info on it if anyone has any ideas.

The yellow is a bit ugly and if I decide to keep it I may paint it.

I have one. It has wire dividers inside for storing film strips I think. I will try and get an image.

Any pics you have would be cool. I'm just curious about them. It seems like a quality piece.

There was an industrial surplus here in town that had some of those with various drawer layouts. He was asking high prices and I wasn't feeling it.

What type of slides does it have? Film/photography industry sounds right.

They were used for storing Numerical Control paper tapes use to program manufacturing machines before you could do direct downloads. Bill

Thanks Bill. I guess by the name of the company that would make sense. They are working out nicely for my purpose and I really won't complain for $40...
