Mine jumped to 14.99, I think the extra 10% ended this morning. Still, for 15 bucks I got it, was looking at it anyway the other day.

Out of stock now for delivery. Store pick up knocked it back down to $13.49. Thanks OP!

Nice. Thank you. Got one for local pickup for $8.37 after using my $5 worth of points bonus I received yesterday. I've been needing a new one. My old one has a wood handle, and the head is really loose and falling off.

Looks like Sears might be discontinuing the Nupla line. I noticed the store stock has dwindled fast and there's only a handful of Nupla products online.

In typical Sears fashion, though the order processed, they didn't have any at the store. They gave me this instead, which I was fine with. Metal cap on one side and soft face on the other. Thanks again Ch3apsk8.

I think that one is actually worth more.

The only reason you might want the other one is if you were doing blacksmith work or something like that, where you wanted the entire head to be metal, and rounded off edges.

Provided they gave you the 3 pound one, that's worth about 10 bucks more.

I wouldn't complain about that, you made out like a bandit.

They only had the 2 lb, but I was OK with that as I'm building my DBH stash from nothing.

I got mine at $13.49 just now, I pick it this afternoon at the store. The website says the store has 4 of them. I hope that is correct.

Picked it up yesterday afternoon. No problems...

Just picked mine up. Very nice. The handle is great. You can tell when you hold it that it fits perfectly in your hand, and locks on your fingers. So no way this thing is going to be flying out of your hand when hammering and swinging hard. I also like that the handle goes all the way up to almost the head. So you can either hold it towards the end for large swings, or hold it close to the head for more delicate and precise tapping. Here is a pic.

Mine was shipped to me. I don't think I have to worry about losing my grip with the weird looking handle. However, the head is slightly lopsided on the handle.
Anyone else notice that with their hammer?

COO is USA, with lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, I don't have a local Sears to easily exchange it.

I just grabbed one at my local Sears. The online pricing is not reflective to the in store pricing, unlike other deals. But as others have stated, it is a very nice hammer. I have a few Nupla hammers and like them very much. I especially like the grip, very comfortable, and useful. If anyone wants a good deadblow, buy a Nupla.

Just when my warden tells me to not spend any money (closing on our house soon) I get a great price on a DBH. Couldnt pass up the $13 cost.

I just picked one up today for $10. My store is having half price on clearance. I kept checking every day hoping to find this drilling hammer and today it showed up in the clearance bin out of nowhere.

From 2013? Who cares when it's from. Jonathan75 is nice enough to post the Hot Deal he found and I appreciate that.

Saw one in the clearance section at my sears for pretty much full price. It is a nice hammer though. They have racks and racks of stuff in that section of my store. Everything from hammers and saw blades to wrenches and screwdrivers...for 10% off. I've been stopping in there almost everyday waiting for them to drop the prices. I guess they keep hoping to sucker people into paying more than new because it's marked "clearance". :dunno:

You can never have too many drilling hammers.

I wasn't a fan of the rebranded nuplas that (I think) some trucks sell but um the retail ones are priced fairly in my opinion.

Here is a picture. My first drilling hammer. I have wanted on for a long time but just waiting for a good deal. Keep checking your Sears for clearance price drops.

My Sears still has one of these hammers that has been there since this thread was made. It is well used...sitting on the shelf for full retail. I'll buy it if it goes on sale again.
