I grabbed one at the $79.92 price with free shipping. Right after I completed my order the price was back up. Got the order confirmation, will see if it gets shipped.

Mine is still "Shipping Now"....

I always sweat these kind of deals until I actually have a tracking number.

I got one at 79.92 as well. It probably won't show shipped until Monday. All of my prime orders are like that. It was fulfilled by amazon, so maybe they just want to get them off the shelf

Whew! I just received my "shipped" email!

Now I juat have to sweat it actually getting here and it being the correct item when, and if it does make it.

Yeah, I know. Among other things, I have a dominant obsessive-compulsive paranoia gene. :lol_hitti

Your post caused me to browse Amazon for other Nupla hammers.
I ended up finding a nice 20oz fiberglass ball pein for $4.50!
After ordering, the price jumped 4x.
This seems to be a common occurrence with Amazon deals.
Must have something to do with stock levels.

It does. Take a close look at the vendor, often it is Amazon clearing out slow moving items from their warehouses and when that (low) stock is depleted, the price jumps due to the next lowest vendor being much higher.

That body tool set was an absolute steal of a deal!

It's a combination of black magic, gris-gris, and voodoo. You need to make sure that you shake the monkey bone and wave the zebra tail just right while sprinkling the chicken blood and chanting the sacred GJ holy words. Words which can't be put to paper due to the curse. :lol_hitti

Seriously, I don't know if anyone has actually even come close to figuring out Amazon's pricing methods. Sometimes the sale price will stay the same until all are gone and sometime it'll shoot up, OR DOWN, after you snag one.

I've watched the price on an item slowly sink for weeks and then, with no change in the inventory number, shoot back up to list price.
