Hello everybody. I'm currently starting my garage, i'm not very expertise on the field but I've been researching for a good long-term option for my car lifts. Here in France the cars are not commonly heavy or big, so I was thinking to buy a Nussbaum smart lift.. Do you have any experience with the brand?:headscrat

You don't say what type (2 post, 4 post, scissor,...) you are looking for. You don't mention whether this is for your own use for a 2CV or for a commercial shop. THis information would be helpful.

If you use the search function and search on "Nussbaum" you will find over one hundred threads that mention them. I would also suggest looking at Maha.

In my research prior to purchasing a lift for my use here in Pennsylvania, (I just bought a Nussbaum HF NT 2.50) I found positive feedback.

However, there is a wide variety of lifts, both manufacturer and type (2 post, 4 post, in-ground, scissor, etc.). One manufacturer may have a better 2 post but a different one a better 4 post. Some may be adequate for a home garage, but not beefy enough for commercial use. Alternatively, a commercial use lift may be too expensive.

Also, look at what local shops are using. There may be some local manufacturers that make fine lifts that people in the US are not aware of.

Thank you so much for your answer, I said I'm interested in the smart lift model which is a 2 post lift and it seems to be good to start my business.
Greetings from France.

Sorry. I had never heard of a smart lift, and it didn't register.

It's not sold in the states, but appears to be sold in Europe and the UK.

It appears to be a jackscrew lift - electric motors turning a jackscrew.

I have no experience with one.
