I've seen a few threads on this brand through search, but curious to learn more from current owners or those with experience. I'm looking at it for $900, which seems like a reasonable price. It's already disassembled but seems like most tend to be. Biggest concern is parts and service. Anyone with a Nussbaum or experience with them?

They have a plant in Gastonia NC. I almost bought a new 2 post 10K but after finding out they were not interested in showing me one, went with a Challenger.

I have had this exact lift for over 10 years now, and I bought it used. I have used it almost every day - 6 days a week since without any problems. The only single thing I have done is replace the rubber lovejoy coupling.

Do you mind if I PM you? Curious to learn from your experience and to send you photos for your thoughts, if you are amenable.

Thanks!

Hey all,
So I grabbed the lift. Will put up a video tomorrow but it seems to be in good shape from what I can tell. It's my first lift so I'm a little concerned I may have gambled a bit since it was already down and I had no chance to see it function first. It was built in 2005, so not especially old I thought. I paid 850 for it in the end, and it's one serious piece of equipment. The cables look good and it seems all there, but not totally sure as I could only go by parts blowups and images online.

Two things I know for sure are that it needs new pads and I need to find a new button for the lowering level as it has an odd replacement on it as the original broke.

Worked with these lifts for about 10 years. Honestly they are one of the best lifts on the market. I would take one over a rotary any day. Quiet, quick, and reliable. Good choice for $900.00 if you have trouble finding parts pm me. I know a supplier who deals only in those lifts that can get anything you need,
