Nutdriver/ bitdriver bit storage?

Anybody know where I can find something to hold bits for a nut driver/ interchangeable screwdriver bits /etc? I'm working on getting my tools out of the craptacular plastic cases that Craftsman sold them to me in, and move them over to Hansen trays/ roll-box drawers/ etc. I have my sockets/ratchets/wrenches mostly moved over, but now I need something to do with the nutdriver bits/ screwdriver bits/ etc. The little foam/plastic deals that tend to come with sets sometimes would be fine, just something a little more high tech and/or specific than a 1/2 pint snack-size ziplock bag would be nice.

Or, if something else works better to keep track of those fiddly little things, what do you guys do?

I have some stuck to a magnet which is stuck in a drawer. Not very high-tech, but it keeps them from rolling around everywhere.

I left mine in the original plastic formed boxes. Its easy to see if everything is back where it belongs, easy to grab my B&D or HF set and take it with me. Maybe a dozen bits end up loose, but nothing special.

Don't laugh but this what I did. I was in the Dollar Store and saw these little first aid kits for a buck a piece. They had about 20 band aids, alcohol swabs etc in them. I bought two, took them home and put the contents in a drawer and use the plastic boxes to keep bits in. Each box has outside measurements of 1" deep, 4" long and 3.5" wide. Each has a snap closure that is pretty good too.

I stole a few Ikea metal mesh thingies from the kitchen...I think they were meant for, eh who knows, but they measure about 1.5" deep and 2"X2". They work great for me. Same style as the silverware holders that they sell at Ikea, but smaller.

The little metal boxes from Altoids mints hold my loose bits that the plastic cases have broken at the hinge or the latch. I will have to try putting a little magnet in there to keep them from jumping out when my two and a half year old daughter helps me with a project. If you ask my wife though, I'm sure she would say I keep my bits in a dish on top of my dresser along with a wide assortment of loose hardware that seems to follow me home.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that could stock a shop with the stuff that makes it to my dresser. Nails, screws, washers, drill bits, anything else I forgot to put back in the van.
