Has anybody tried that Rustoleum Countertop system? Any pros, cons? Will it last, either in the kitchen or the garage?

I don't have epoxy and I have nothing to gain by telling you to go with another brand, but go with another brand. There are lots of epoxy guys on this forum and a lot of threads about counters. Do it once and do it right with a quality product.

Well, it'd be nice to get a recommendation on a "quality product' because our kitchen counter top is purple (used house) and ANYTHING would be better, according to the wife. I've been looking at the Rustoleum product too - it's about 1/25 the price of solid surface and even laminate. Likely worth a try, even if it only lasted 3~5 years.

The apt. complex where I work painted all of their counter tops. You would never know they were painted compared to a pattern on laminate. They hired it out and I have no clue what product they use. It also does chip, etc. but it takes a lot to do that
