I use Torque on my android phone with a bluetooth ODB2 reader that I got off of Amazon. The app was $7 and the reader was $20 I believe. It shows realtime info, along with different tests and graphs. I personally only use it when I get a check engine light, so I can't really tell you how good the graphs and all that are. It will help show you the meaning of the codes and has a web lookup to give better ideas of what is wrong.

Again, I don't use all the functions, so I can't tell you how well it compares to the auto doctor, but I personally love it.

That is not the exact one that I have, but it is similar.
