I'm looking for my first OBD reader/scanner and have read what I could find but still unsure where I should go unit wise. I know Innova has great service and support and lean that way, but would appreciate some knowledgable input.
My current vehicles include... 1991 Corvette, 2004 GMC Denali, 2005 Aston Martin, 2006 Cadillac, 2007 Infinity G35X, 2012 Acura MDX. However I would like to be able to assist friends and their various vehicles as well.
The current units I'm looking at are the Innova 3140, InnovaPro 31703, or Blue Point Microscan 717. Any thoughts as to which one of these would be better for me, or another make and model you feel is superior to these in the same price range (>$1000) would be appreciated. One last thing, user friendly is important as I want this to be a fun toy/tool, not an aggrevating one that has a long learning curve.
