Can anyone recommend a good reader that reads ABS and SRS codes?

Many of the lower to mid range code readers will display those codes nowadays. If you're looking for a OBDII dongle that will read those codes, (and display live data like wheel speed sensors, for example) and will also work with your smartphone. You could try the Autel AP200C. The unit itself is cheaper than buying a full size dedicated OBDII scanner/reader but some of the services require an extra fee.... which, depending what you're looking for can still be cheaper than a stand alone OBDII scanner/reader. This particular video shows the device being used to "auto bleed" ABS brakes but the device is capable of much more.

The higher end Bosch brand scanners can do that and has a lot of different options for reading live stream data and doing graphs plus more.

I saw this one on ECS. It is also a Blue Tooth and works with Android. I have a VW and want to make sure it will be compatible. It Looks very affordable. Although I am not sure if this is a subscription service, as is the Autel recommended above. I am not looking to bleed the abs. I just want to trouble shoot. However, it would be nice to have now that I know it is available at a reasonable price.

I second the blue driver... its 100 bucks but it is packed with features and updates are free... no paying for the recommended repair info...
