OBDII & HD scanner

I'm looking at upgrading my obdii and hd code readers and I came across the Genisys evo 3874hd. I like the fact that it fits my current needs and I can expand it when I need to.
Other hd scanners I've seen run for the same price as the evo and they only work on hd trucks. I'll like to get one that takes care of both.
From reviews the evo might be a good fit for me.
Are there other scanners that works on both?

I have one that's a couple of years old and it has worked good for me. You can add
what you need as far as which car or abs .

It has flexibility and that's what I like about. I'll get the abs/airbag cables later.
How well does the code assist work?
