Obligatory new guy post.

Have read many posts on the forum as Google keeps sending me here when I google tool/toolbox stuff so thought I'd just say hi

I'm just an older guy with a passion for his Jeep and off-roading, who is (finally) learning to wrench/weld/fabricate on said Jeep and currently working on redoing his garage to be a better home 'shop'.

Just bought a new toolbox setup and working on building out a full set of tools since I'm tired of being in the middle of a project and having to stop and run to the store to buy a low-grade tool just to get the job done.

I already appreciate all the info I've gotten from this site, and the hours I spent browsing the "let's see your toolbox" thread!

There are a good number of Jeep fans here, myself included. @zmotorsports has a great thread in the fabrication section and on occasion will go out wheeling with his LS swapped Wrangler.

Thanks! I'll look for that thread. I wheel my Jeep around 35+ days a year, so we get it out a lot, it doesn't actually see much pavement to be honest. A big part of what I'm learning is just maintenance and repair, but also customizing when I can.
