Ok...something simple here...I'm wanting to add a small/electronic size set (6) of slotted and Phillips screwdrivers... German or Swiss preferred...in that size are most equivalent , or does anything rise above the others?

The wiha precession set is best with odd torx sizes too
I recommend standard drivers for electronic work since most screws do not like any form of high torque and you really need to feel the fastners vs bits too

Wiha, Pb Swiss, Snap-On . I would say Wiha control the market for Electronics screwdriver because they also focus on uncommon shapes like pentalobe

PB Swiss, best by miles!

I have some Wiha, but have relegated them to general workshop use since I've owned PB.

The Wiha are good, but take a close look at the tips and you will see the PB are in a different league as regards the standard of machining and finish. PB are harder and stronger too. The only time I use the cheaper ones is if I'm working with crappy screws!

Next contender would be Facom. Their drivers are lovely, better finished than Wiha, and have the best designed handle! As far as I'm aware they are still French made!

The only Snap On ones I've seen of late are Spanish made. Nothing wrong with that, but I'm not paying Snap On money for a tool I can get for half the money!

There are many other contenders. I have a set of CK in my road box. German made and pretty good! They weren't much money either!

I agree with Wiha. They have an extensive line of precision screwdrivers. You'll probably need to add Torx in addition to phillips and slotted.

I also prefer individual drivers vs interchangeable bit sets.

Just go here:

Wera also has a pretty good lineup of precision screwdrivers.

I really agree with buying top quality (vs generic China) for these small screwdrivers. Stripped heads, camouts, poor fit can be a real PIA for small hardware.
