Howdy, New guy here from TN! I built my garage 3 years ago and finally ran electricity out to it last weekend and I cannot stay out of it!! I cannot believe I went so long! It is 30wx36d. This weekend I cleaned it (again) and put in baseboards and got a bit of a workbench area going. Here is a pic of it so far... I am storing some stuff for my mom, but that should be out in a few weeks. When that happens my workshop area should be 20x30! Next projects are sealing, possibly staining the floor and building a 6'-8' workbench and painting walls and ceiling. garage`1.jpg

Looks good. Electricity makes a big difference.

Is the chandelier something you're storing, or a decoration?

And welcome to the Journal.

The chandelier was given to me and my wife to be used in our engagement pictures. I didnt like it being stored because it is old and I didnt want it to be damged so I wired it up and hung it. It actually casts a lot of light; way more than the flours!

Long Beach CA, the sewer by the sea.
I like the chandelier. Recently I did a search to see if there were chandeliers in the old carriage houses. Indeed there were. Along with wall sconces. I may wire some of those up myself.

You've got the hangout, got the barrel table, where's the beer tap? ;)
