I have a stand alone wardrobe -- Big with large twin sliding glass doors. When you slide open either door there is a tiny motion sensor inside in the middle of each compartment that turns on the hanger bar light.
I have never been able to find something like this. The sensor is wired back to a small control box. The box has two cords: one to plug into an outlet and another to power the 110v hanger bar light. My unit has two of them.
It would make a great override for my hot water recirculation system -- few other uses I can think of. Understand I can always use one that looks like a switch .. but you can't really hide them. This is tiny
