Cool website, hemibee. I've always been fascinated by automatic packaging machines, like cans/bottles of coke, beer, soup and boxes of cereal, etc., etc.You ought to be on "How Things Work".

Hello Hawk Thor. Have you ever been to sea/Navy or merchant marines vessels or have you been doing ship yard support.

We don't have a navy here, just the coast guard and ICE-SAR. I haven't been working as a mechanical engineer at sea, not yet anyway. I need to go to school for one more year before I can get any decent job on a ship.

We mostly do repairs and modifications on medium and large fishing trawlers, smaller container ships, coast guard vessels and similarly sized vessels. We also get some smaller ship and boats.

I definitely plan to work at sea when my studies are done, that's where the big money is. I'll hopefully settle into a nice job in a hydroelectric or a geothermal electric dam when I get too old to crawl around engine compartments and spend time at sea.

Now I'm working to feed and house my GF and son, and finishing some of my required shop time.

Love escaping to the garage to get my hands dirty.

Nice to meet you -- same here. I do embedded sw for telecom gear.

I spend all day creating stuff that I can't see (sw) -- I love getting home and creating things that I can see!

My first job was self-employed, distributed the daily newpaper. Then worked for Dad builing houses, a bunchof odd jobs, 10 + years selling auto parts, a fireman/emt for 10 years. The last 30 years self-employed selling/servicing fire extinguishers, sprinklers, suppression systems. I now have 3 full employees, and we cannot keep up.

You forgot to mention crawling kitchen hoods.
I provide maid service for homeless people. We clean bus stops.

In Dayton,Ohio there was a dealership called F&S Kawasaki,Suzuki and Harley Davidson. The HD side was seperated from the metrics by a hallway/passageway and both sides had seperate front entrances. I don't know if they still sell all 3 brands or not.
