Picked these up at an estate sale this past weekend. Amazingly.....just today 
I noticed on one of them the static end is the "wrong" end. I have seen and used lots of this style of clamps and can't remember ever seeing one where the adjusting end wasn't the tightening one. Could be I'm just getting senile..:tard: Regardless, I assume there must be a reason doing this...Any thoughts?
