Odd hilbrand split wrench? Set

Got this set in a bucket at an auction yesterday was in with some plumbing tools. They are 12 pt wrenches the split open and spring back....

I believe those are a type of ratcheting flare nut wrench.

Ahh it does rachet and it is definitely for some low torque application by the construction.

That’d be cool for the nuts on electric conduit connectors but the shape doesn’t seem right.
