Odd link.

When I have a new private message, there is a little flashing envelope next to the private message link in the upper left of the page. I clicked this to bring me to my message box, as I can in other forums, but the link brought me to the Jalopy Journal.

Might want to look into that.

Clicked the envelope? Or the "Private Message" link? Clicking the PM link takes me to my messages. Don't currently have an envelope, so can't try that. But might want to check your computer for adware, spyware, viruses, and such - some of those do all sorts of funky redirects...

If you have a NEW message in your inbox, there is a small envelope that will show up to indicate this.
Looks like this:

It shows up just to the right of the text "you last visited". On other vBulletin boards you can click this to bring you to your PM box. When I click it, it takes me to http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/private.php when it should be http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/private.php

Same here ie I get the JalopyJournal when clicking the envelope. I just click Private Messages and that gets me to my messsage. I figured some wires must be crossed somewhere. ; )

Ummm... Yes... I realize that... Just that I DO NOT CURRENTLY HAVE any new messages to try that out. I've always clicked on the "Private Messages" link which takes me where I need to go and never tried clicking on the envelope itself.

I normally just click the private messages link too, I just thought someone who runs the site might want to change the link, since I inadvertently clicked it and it took me to an incorrect site.
