Odd looking clamp identification

Hey everyone. I have come across a pile of clamps like this of different sizes but all have a similar shape. It has threads in both sides. Are these just a special purpose clamp, or they have a very specific use?

Beam clamp for hanging stuff off I beams.

Yep. You slide the clamp over the beam flange and tighten the bolt down to hold the clamp on the beam. Usually the bolt is on the top so the threaded hole is on the bottom. Then you can use threaded rod screwed into the clamp to hang or attach whatever you want.
