Odd Old Snappy box

Picked this up from a small lot of tools I bought from a retired bodyman. Have never seen this box before. There is no model number or date stamp on the rear so that tells me it is pre 1963 or so.

It has been repainted at some point and not great but it is not beat up so a resto should be easy if one was so inclined

Any info would be appreciated.

Not sure if your father's had a hip roof top.

Thanks!!!! His box is the K-21. When my father worked for Dunbar Armored car, Dunbar came in the shop one day, didn't like the grey color and had someone paint it red. My father was so mad that he almost quit. They repainted it black. 30 years ago, I repainted it grey. I still use it every day.
