Never seen anything like it. Anyone else got one?

Got a pair similar. Mine are old craftsman. that thing in the middle, you disconnect it for internal rings, keep it on for external... bulky but they work.

This one isn't reversible. You squeeze the center handle in opposite directions for internal or external snap rings.
