odd vintage craftsman swivel

no part # or other insignia anywhere. it has a circle, but doesnt look like a circle H at all to me. i know they didnt put part #'s on the early stuff so im lost.

the craftsman print is very blockish as well. not like others i have.
1/2 drive. its still tight too. almost better than a new one!

any insight to what it may be other than a craftsman swivel?

mine doesnt have the correct pins, nor the dots on each side of the circled K.

Fig. 160 shows a Craftsman "K-Circle" 1/2-drive universal, stamped with "Craftsman" in block letters, and with a K-Circle manufacturer's code.

The overall length is 2.3 inches, and the finish is chrome plating.

The K-Circle marking has been identified as the manufacturer's code for S-K Tools, based on their distinctive 3/4-drive tools produced for the Craftsman brand. This is currently the only 1/2-drive Craftsman tool known from S-K Tools. If any of our readers have seen other examples, please let us know via email.

i have found several things online now. looks like craftsman indeed had plomb made tools for them in the 40's. few things on ebay, not much.

hey! neat. i think the one i have is war finish. yours still has nice chrome. i cant believe for a 50+ year old tool that its still tight as a new one. figured it would be spread and floppy by now. tools were made really good back then.
