Does anyone have a creeper with pneumatic tires? if so what kind and is it worth the money? I find myself off pavement doing road service quite often was thinking of investing in one

Other than the wheels, it looks the same as my plane jane one. Get a couple of big casters from Surplus Center, and pocket the ~$150 difference.

Nice creepers! I knew about the Bone creeper but wanted air tires too. My Dad is getting up there in age and thinks my creeper (Lisle) is at his shop so it's his along with many air tools ect.
So I will just save money and buy them again instead of upsetting him. I would like the adjustable head rest too.

I have a Craftsman with the 6" air tires. It is nice for tractors or 3/4 ton and larger trucks. They ride 4" off the ground so you won't get under alot of things. It rolls great on most any sufarce.

How about welding up a frame with air tires that you can lay your regular creeper in. Then you can have the best of both

Those big, pneumatic wheeled creepers ****. I bought one for $150 and ended-up donating it to goodwill as it was such a pain in the **** to use; wheels always running flat, hitting your hands or elbows on the wheel risers--useless. Run away.

i just use my nephews old thick foam snowsleds they left down here,i ripped all the plastics runners and grab straps off and they work great for sliding on the gravel.also work great for what i call knee helpers.i'm not mean:they just shouldnt leave their **** down here too long or it'll get used or thrown away

Big piece of cardboard fold it up and put in your truck,when it gets dirty replace it,creepers don't cut it.

Not a bad idea. When you need lower profile just take your regular creeper off the frame.

I just bought one from R.E.L. and it has 6" hard casters and a nice thick foam pad, and ot was only $124. much cheaper than the bone, so, white side, and others. Got it out auto part tool flyer monthly listing. (auto source/MEDCO)

I had no idea someone was making offroad creepers. Those are neat. Don't know that I'd pay for it though.

That's been my method too. Also great for putting parts on for paint, just lay on the clean side :D

Water heater boxes make for good creepers.

I have trouble getting under any vehicle without jacking it or putting it on ramps. I like the larger wheels but I need something that puts my body as close to the ground as possible. And while I could lose 10-20 lbs usually the problem is getting my head under, not my belly. No wise cracks about swelled egos guys...

Another vote for this.

Works well for concrete as well, especially when you have limited clearance. you slide on the cardboard easily, it insulates you from the cold ground, and it does a surprisingly good job of padding if you use two layers or more.

In the winter out here a would like a heated creeper. Maybe I should design a new creeper then send out samples to you guys eh?

I have the snappy pneumatic creeper and I love it. I don't know that I would pay retail for it but it works very well it dirt and gravel
