I'm getting a 6ft cedar privacy fence installed soon. Full 4x4" posts (treated and stained) with full 3/4" thick pickets and aluminum fasteners. I've been researching stain, and I know that an oil based semi-transparent stain is the best way to go.

Any recommendations out there? Pictures of what you have? I don't want much color, just enough to hopefully make it last for at least 2-3 years.

His neighbor supplied and installed the fence son only had to supply the stain

It's the island. You'll have to wait there with a shovel to hit the bunnies that will continually run under there and eat up the garden.
