The page won't load for me (IE 5.5).. always loads with an error...

Funny you should mention this, It works fine for me and Nobody else has said anything. Are you running Firefox? Alot of times Firefox doesnt open alot of pages right. Could your version of I.E. be outdated? Ill post your location for ya if youd like... just post your zipcode and a short comment

Sorry... let me rephrase--the page loads but the map doesn't. I get an error msg at the bottom (one of the yellow exclamation notes) of the browser window.

What does it say? And are you running firefox or an older verison of explorer? Ive never had this happen

"Error on page", down in the lower left corner of the window (like a javascript error would be listed). Only IE (5.5 on Win ME) running--no firefox, etc.

Jim, everytime I look at the map it automatically only shows the east coast. Is there a way to default it to the whole US?

Correction... No, there is no way to get it to look at the whole country, It defaults like that for some reason.

Something wierd about that map. If you look at Wichita KS. you will see one balloon shadowing the other, identiying to GJ members in that town. Now look at Topeka KS just above Wichita, and all you will see is my balloon. There was another GJ (Jason K)balloon right where mine is before I added my name and location. After I added my info it would appear that my info covered his and he has essentially been covered up and disappeared! You can still find Jasons name in the list at the right side of the map, but his balloon does not show up!
