I spend a lot of time in working at my desk. My desk is counter top height so I have trouble finding an appropriate office chair. Drafting table stools are the perfect height. It is kind of a specialty market and there are not a huge range off options. After two years the crappy vinyl/leather was in really bad shape. Pictures actually look much better then the actual condition. I looked for a replacement and couldn't find anything I liked. I decided to do a refresh on my current chair. I ended up spending $100 on a $40 chair, but I am very pleased with the results.
It is now covered with a real whole grain leather cover and rolling on roller blade wheels with ABEC 3 bearings.
