Pretty sure my secret Santa was JASTECH - He got me a very nice Allen 55 piece tool set which includes 1/4in and 3/8 and some bits. He also got me some tie down straps and some very cool No Marr Straps. I will be putting all of this to good use with my bikes. The tool kit is perfect for an emergency roadside kit for long bike trips. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! i appreciate it a lot

Glad you liked everything and that it got there on time. I gathered that you liked all things Snap On (especially cranberry!) and Peterbilts. Figured I'd round it out with some "Canadian content" with the Picquic and the Tim Hortons stuff. Enjoy!

My SS was Dr Clyde. He sent me an awesome looking ratcheting screwdriver. I have been wanting to pick one up for a couple of months now, but I can never decide on which one lol. I'm glad you made a great choice for me :) I like the feel of this one.
I also received a rack for shop towels, which I intend to hang right next to my toolbox at work tomorrow! The rack is from Dr Clyde's family business catalog. I took a picture of the pamphlet in case anyone wants to google it and check out the other products.
Thank you very much for the great gifts! I'll be using them at work starting tomorrow :)

Still no luck on my end. :(

To my Secret Santa: If any tracking numbers show it was delivered, let me know if it has any comment like "left with neighbor". If it's still en route, let it be a surprise. If it went US mail, let's hold off any worry 'til Tuesday evening... I think they're closed this Monday and won't deliver anything then.

Not sure of the user name but thanks to Mr. Myers for my new Wiha set!

Hi Trent! I would be the Mr. Myers in question and you're very welcome. I see now you're a Tarheel fan. I am not much of a sports fan but I grew up in a (mostly) Tarheel family so I guess that makes me a Tarheel by default.

Thanks to my SS, Patrick Boyle, who sent some awesome organizational stuff that'll go in the box at home, some ratcheting wrenches for the truck, and some other neat stuff. The half inch extension will get tons of use. Thanks, and Merry Christmas!

You're very welcome! My buddy uses the heck out of his blue point ratcheting driver, and I thought the bits in the handle with a rack was clever, versus just dumping them in the handle. I hope it works well for you. I have that same paper towel rack bolted to the side of my box, it's my favorite of our product line. Hope you had a Merry Christmas!

All I can say is WOW! Steve Bird (AKA :Jabberwoki") did some really good digging and remembered that I'm looking for garage art (for the yet to be constructed shop.) He found some vintage magazine ad's featuring or for the AC Cobra and had them framed. What's really cool is that I remember seeing these ad's (and the one of the Officers standing around the car looking at it. I've done that more than once during my 29-years on the road.

Again, Jabberwoki, many thanks and Merry Christmas.

Ray

Glad you like em Ray you`ll have to post some picks of them up on your wall!

Many thanks to "Charged Up!" (Paul) for the really cool RotaVision Organizer! This was perfect timing, as I need something like this for organizing misc. fasteners in the house...my current method of a big coffee can is a big fail. Thanks Paul!

Here is mine. Thank you NastyNate!

First is a pair of Cornwell spark plug boot pliers. I actually needed these pliers and I don't have any Cornwell tools. plus and plus!

Second is an SK 3/8 ratchet. I've been eyeballing these in the classifieds every time someone posts on. Now I can eyeball my own!

Third is an SK wobble extension. I love this style of extension and now I have another length option!

Fourth is an Armstrong #2 and #3 phillips bit pair. Once again I really have needed some phillips bit sockets for a while AND I didn't have any Armstrong!

Last is a Vintage Craftsman speeder. This will go great with the Bits.

THANKS NastyNate!!!

We're still out of town and there was some concern from my SS about my package arriving since his tracking showed a failed delivery on the 21st.

I called the post office on the 24th and verified that they held the package in my hold mail.

Now, the interesting part. I posted the following picture of some Wera drivers I picked up with Christmas cash from the in-laws while in Florida...

Turns out my SS sent Wera drivers to me. Not just Wera drivers, but the exact same drivers! (I'm not 100% sure, but I'm thinking he sent the set on the left)

So, while I have yet to open my package, Krokodil, thanks for the drivers!

My wife says I now have Active Duty and Reserve sets. :lol_hitti

My SS was CoryZ and he really hit one out of the park.

And the awesome contents.

photo-3.jpg

A six pack of Spotted Cow beer (very unexpected and very cool) and a set of most excellent ******** Wiha Screwdrivers.

Thanks Cory!

I'm glad you like them, and I'm really glad that the beer made it there OK. I was afraid that UPS was going to drop kick the package through their transfer terminals and leave nothing but broken bottles.

I hope everyone had an enjoyable and memorable Christmas with family and friends.

Thanks to 930dreamer for my SS gift... a set of those stubby Williams combo wrenches, a Proto 5249 ratchet (I didn't have one of those) and a pair of S-K needle-nose pliers! Sweet!
And I hope you enjoy all that snow! (we here in Northern California are still waiting for that first snowfall of the year).

That is so funny about the Active and Reserve duty!

At least I know that you really like my gift, cause I asked in the other thread what you think of them!

Now for a clue on the other small gift in the package: Similar type of tool, made in Germany, and the brand name starts with the same letter as the above tools......

I also received and opened my SS gift. I received a Shiny new pair of Craftsman Branded Knipex Cobras.

Thanks to my SS (who did not leave a user name).

I received my gift but I'm out of town until 1/8 (my son alerted me of its arrival) so a BIG THANK YOU to my Secret Santa (whomever he/she may be) I'll post photos when I get home. Also I haven't heard if the package I sent was received. It was sent out about ten days prior to Christmas. I'll check my delivery confirmation and PM the recipient if I don't hear something soon.

You are so very welcome.

I believe the ratchet was made by SK for Penneys. Not an easy one to find but buttery smooth! Mechanism looks the same internally as the SK RHFT. Who needs the latest technology when the oldsters are this smooth?

Saw you got a new tractor and figured you could at least use the Betas for the hydraulics if nothing else!

So glad that you happy with the items.

I recieved this clock made from a rotor, and bookends made from sprockets. Also a Dewalt box for bits etc. Big thanks to 98TJ!! I love the clock, and can't wait to hang it in the garage.
The bookends will look great holding my catalogs, and manuals. The bit holder is headed to work to hold all my adaptors, and fittings for setting and testing amplifiers.

Thanks again, 98TJ

I found who the artist of Garage Journal is, -Brent-. I got a wonderful set of Wera screwdrivers, a really neat tri-color led flashlight and some hand warmers. This is my first exposure to Wera and I'm highly impressed with them. Thank you -Brent- and Merry Christmas to all!!

I'm glad you lie the drivers. You were a tough one because any tool talk I had read about, when searching your old threads, exposed that you had WAY BETTER (and newer) tools than me... hahaha.

I hope you enjoyed your holiday!

And the same to all the other GJers!

As I wuz outta town, my gifts for my SS recip went out late as did those that came to me when I picked them up at the PO.

My Santa is from Syracuse and really nailed it! Thanks Santa.

In no particular order:

A Cman double magnet tray (I been looking at that one!)

A pair of Mechanix gloves (Can never have too many of those - if'n I only remember to use 'em!)

A Snap On pen and pencil set by Parker (I've been known to do some writing...)

A Cman, 22 piece drill and drive set (Wuz also looking at one of them - Thanks!)

And last but certainly not least, a Proto 3/8 swivel head ratty that I've already begun to dig the feel of.

Thanks, Santa from NY!

Today, the day after Christmas, I grabbed my new Proto ratty to use on putting a new thermostat in my truck so WINNING and thanks, SS!

I guess I had better post my SS gifts, 1st off,

261.jpg

Opened it and found more goodies,

262.jpg

265.jpg

263.jpg

And the wierd part, my SS was the same as last years! What are the chances, with 2 different organizers, 2 different drawings, the same SS?

Not complaining, maybe I should buy a lottery ticket!

Very much appreciative for the gifts. All will be used or go into the collections.

Received an SK tool box, repainted, but very nice. A 1/4 drive Walden ratchet. I've got 2 others of the same style but no name.

An Indestro refrigeration wrench. Also different from one I do have.

A big tube of 574 loctite. So many uses for this.

A set of Stewart Warner gauges.

A small box with 2 Hinsdale socket sets. An older "Fat H" hex drive set and a later 3/3 sq. drive set.

Can't thank mtk19 enough for 2 spectacular years in row!

I got a few tools that will come in handy. A pair of small tin snips, a couple Snap-On screwdrivers, a pair of large vise grips and a nice small comp-o-thane hammer. I'll try to get a photo later today.

Thanks Donkdonk!
