As promised heres the pic's my SS was Spencerian, he sent me the gearwrench ratcheting metric nutdriversand the metric hex bit socket set.:bounce:
I have them siting in front of the new husky 3 drawer int box the wife bought me
P1010183.jpg

You had posted in the "SS hint" thread.
I saw you needed hex sockets, but you didn't say SAE or metric.
I would have included the hanger, but that would have warranted a large
USPS box.

And I had an extra nut driver set, so I thought I'd give it to you.
I labeled the tray so they're easier to find. I did that to my set too.

Hope you like it Hank!

It was fun!

JBullfrog was my SS.

He sent me a couple cool stickers and a really nice home repair book. The real highlight for me was the Streamlight Stylus Pro he included. I've had my eye out for a really small light for quite a while and have never seen this one before. Looks perfect for me, and one of my favorite parts is that it uses AAA batteries that I can get anywhere-- nothing exotic. Perfect light for me.

Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Adam

I recieved this clock made from a rotor, and bookends made from sprockets. Also a Dewalt box for bits etc. Big thanks to 98TJ!! I love the clock, and can't wait to hang it in the garage.
The bookends will look great holding my catalogs, and manuals. The bit holder is headed to work to hold all my adaptors, and fittings for setting and testing amplifiers.

Thanks again, 98TJ

Glad you like them. Like I said in my PM, you were a tough one to gauge as far as what tools to get so I decided to make something you couldn't buy.

I had received compliments on my clock from various people saying they'd like to have one, so I took a gamble and sent one to you.

That DeWalt holder was something I saw and picked up for myself. I went back before I left the store and got one for my SS. Didn't know who it would be at the time, but I had that on hand.

...and you still have 2lbs of homemade jerky headed your way.

Each year I do SS I plan to make at least one item I send my person.

Luckily, my SS sent me a PM letting me know that in the bottom of the box, between two sheets of cardboard, was something I had missed when I opened the package . . .

A very cool sign for my shop door!

My secret santa has pm'd me to let me know that my gift is on route and hopefully it should arrive soon.

Used both ratchets and my extensions today stripping a car. It's a little weird getting used to a fine tooth ratchet, I think most of my ratchets are 36 tooth, but I love 'em!! :bounce:

Awesome! I'm glad you like it! :) hope you had a happy holiday!

I hope you had a great one too. This was probably my favorite gift in a half-dozen years. I love GJ secret santa. Great to see some great thought and elbow grease put into these things. I'm behind the curve on this. I'll have to start working on ideas well before the announcement of who we have next year.

I'm glad that you are putting them to work straight away. I will send you a repair kit out for each ratchet, and then you're covered for when they eventually wear out.

Thanks again! Hope everyone is enjoying their gifts as well!

Also still waiting for my gift from sears.. I can't wait to get those tools

i hope you don't need to use the bolt outs but if needed they sure come in handy.

Addrock sent me an awesome set of WERA screwdrivers. i'm a WERA virgin but i'm liking them.

BIG THANKS to Blacknwhitepit for arranging this year's Secret Santa

Great to see all the wonderful gifts that everyone got! I see the German Screwdrivers appear to be a very popular gift (They are cool looking IMHO) and the custom made stuff was really awesome.

This year had excellent participation and communication and I enjoyed doing this.

I am only aware of one member who has not heard or received anything from his Secret Santa.

If anyone still has not received their SS gift and has not heard from me or your Secret Santa about a delay, please let me know via PM and I will contact them.

Wishing everyone a belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

OK, here we go!

Found this in my mailbox today. Here it is perched atop my toolbox (since I didn't put up a tree).

Give me about 10 minutes and I'll post a pic of the contents. :lol_hitti

Looks like somebody found the "Secret Santa Helper" thread!

Pratt-Read Classic series "Long Reach" screwdrivers!

and a slick-looking carbon fiber finish / hand pinstriped desk clock... how'd you know I needed a clock? :p

...and it looks like my "Secret Santa", whoever you are, lost an eye while packing this.

Thank you!

It speaks volumes of the character of the members of this board that we have backups who have already volunteered to fill in for those who may be the victim of a Christmas Grinch.

I am holding out hope that the reason those members have not received their gifts are because they are stuck in the mail or customs somewhere.

I have a couple items I can send to anyone that didn't receive a secret Santa gift. Or, if there's a collection to be taken up to buy something, I'm in for that as well.

Got this awesome hammer from Catsteve.
He is from Australia and had it dropped shipped from the forger here in the US Brent Baily Forge, Orlando CA)
Thank you so much what a great hammer that is a work of art, almost too pretty to use.
I will be shooting you back an email as soon as I get time to send a proper response.

That hammer is sweet. I looked through the companies website, they make some damn nice looking gear.

I bet we could all get together and take care of whoever got shorted.

Happy new year everyone!

I'm on board with this! Shoot a pm my way if we have someone that got stiffed, and I'm sure we'll come up with a great gift :)

Just as an update to whoever was SS for me, I've been out of town and won't be back home until Friday. Really looking forward to opening it! Can't believe I managed to wait this long already.
