I recieved a SS gift above and beyond my expectations! Any ONE thing would have been great! I recieved a set of extra long, spring holding Wiha allen keys(Metric and standard), and set of Pittsburgh U-joints, a set of Pittsburgh screwdrivers (which I have already used!), and a set of awesome snap-on snips! I have never used any quite as smooth! These are all things I will use frequently at work and school!
Thanks Chris, AKA Chrislols! :rocker:

I'm a little late in posting my SS gift. I was away and didn't get a chance to see my gifts to last night. I recieved a set of Wera screwdrivers, a Radiator tool set, mini screwdriver and a very cool calendar.

The Wera screwdriver is a brand I've been meaning to try and I am so glad I got them.

I am hoping I never have to use the Radiator tool set but it will be very useful in the event I need to change out some hoses when it inevitability happens.

and the very cool calendar is going right onto my toolbox in the garage.

Thanks quick86 for the wonderful gifts.

I received the best gifts ever! Two American ratchets from Homoudont! A Snap On GF80 and a Craftsman! My first ever tools from both these brands! Also my first 3/8dr tool. This means I must go and buy some more 3/8 stuff! Wow, thanks a lot for exceeding my expectations!

The Snap on Ratchet cleaned up really good. My thinking was since you didn't have easy access to US made tools I'd get you two of the most talked about ratchets on GJ. The Dual 80 snap on and a classic craftsman ratchet. I hope you get many years of use out of your new to tools.

Still waiting for my SS to send it. But on the other side it's great the 99.98% of the SS's came through. This proves to me at least that people are honest. Their will always be dead beats in this thing but all that honored it are upstanding people. Looking at some of the packages sent out it's just amazing what was done. Happy New Year and may it be your best ever. BWP thanks for all effort and look forward to next year..

Sorry I was so late to the game this year. My SS was Apong23

Strangely enough, I think my favorite item is the Velcro American flag! Thanks Apong23!

They will provide me with years of service to come.

Thanks again!

I did not receive a note in mine (or I mised it), so tank you to my santa. I revceived a Snapon "willy G" collectors box loaded with a calander, welding magnet and welding angle supports. They will surly be used in a few upcoming projects.

Thanks!!

I'm still waiting for mine to arrive also. My Secret Santa has confirmed that it was shipped on 18 December. Don't give up hope just yet, as your gift is probably in transit, just like mine.

Glad you liked it. I've never owned Wera, but saw how much people here praise them. After buying them for you, I now need to buy a set! :lol_hitti

And Rad. tool set is handy when you need to drain a system and the petcock is seized up. Not a tool one likes to use, but when they're seized up this usually gets them off noooo problem.

Got back in town and swung by the post office to pick up my SS package from Krokodil today.

Inside was what seemed to be the most popular gifts this year here on GJ - Wera drivers. Also included was a sweet little Wiha ESD-safe stubby and a note hoping I'd like my new European tools.

I love the Weras. In fact I bought some while out of town for the holidays and it was only after buying them that I found out my SS had sent Weras. :lol_hitti

Thank you, Krokodil!

BWP did contact my SS and said things are being tended too. But I'm back in Kentucky now and really don't plan on being back home until spring. Wife will let me know if package shows. Only time will tell but will still support the program as it's the giving is what is important. And it's just plain fun!

Glad they made it all the way there! I have included a Schroder bit in the Wiha driver. Also made in Germany.

Today i received some lovely Plomb items, including two wrenches, a 1/4 ratchet, extension, and sliding T bar. I'm absolutely thrilled with them, and they would be nearly impossible to find in England. My secret santa was JSharp, and his choice of gift was perfect. Thankyou.

Well been informed from home that a SS package did arrive at the house. But with me now in Kentucky it will be awhile before I get home.
Now that this is about done how about a big hand for BWP for his effort. Also would like to know the hit rate on people following through with this commitment. Has to be in the high 90% area. Thanks again to all and have a great New Year!

We had a great showing and follow though this year. To my knowledge, there were only two members who did not follow through on their commitments. Unfortunately, these members made no effort to contact me or their giftees. After numerous PM's sent to them for almost two weeks, they have still not returned any message to me. Suffice it to say that they will not be allowed to participate again.

In the Spirit of Christmas, I would like to move past those who were Grinches and remember there were over 160 others whom got their gifts and made this season a little extra special for another member.

Additionally, there were two Volunteer Secret Santas who stepped up and filled in for those who did not get anything (whom I would like to recognize when the recipients get their gifts)- note- their gifts are in the mail as I write this.

Best to all

Sweet! I just got my Secret Santa gift from Joelfke (Jim) whom was picking up the slack for the original guy.

He gave me a nice set of swivel impacts, a vintage wire stripper and some safety glasses.

Thanks a bunch for stepping up, Jim. That makes the gifts even better.

Wow that was quick. A+ for USPS. I tried to give some useful stuff since you got taken by "The Grinch".

Last time I checked, this whole thing was about making someone's day. I got to do it twice! Looking foward to next year!

Here's what my Secret Santa (who still remains a secret to me) left on my doorstep:

I could not be happier  obviously he did his homework. The SO ratchet is a dual 80 of which I previously owned -0- (The bulk of my tools having been purchased between 79-99). Vise grip in a size recently MIA and $25 for HF :shocking: Awesome

Thank you Santa! and BWP for putting this together. I'm in for 2012!

Mine showed up last night from the Secret Santa Relief Squad. I received a box from a familar member. He had sent me a gift the first year and again this year. He was not my SS either year. A big thanks to Chadster1 for stepping in and making my day!

I received 2 Vise grips w/ swivel pads, an automatic center punch, 2 pair snap on socks, a nano light, SO keychain, SO squirt gun, 2 Snap on shirts, and SO calenders and catalog.

Pretty good stuff. I had mentioned offhand in a thread that I liked the swivel pad vise grips but don't own any and now I have two. I will put them to good use as well as the center punch. I still carry the microstream flashlight he gave me the first year in my jacket pocket, now I have a nice nano light on my keychain too.

Thanks, Chad you are a stand up guy.

John

I am totally out of the loop on this. Do the mods know who the grinches are, and are they being banned?

The last one?

Woo hoo.
I heard my SS had some difficulties getting a gift away but that he was defiantly good for his commitment.
Got home yesterday to see that my SS had come through.
I received a 6 piece Wera screwdriver set. that came with a small screwdriver rack.
I have a board on the wall where i hang wrenches and other go-to tools when working on a project.
Now there are a set of screwdrivers to compliment. They are getting use already.
Big thanks SS (unknown).
And thanks to BWP for all your efforts this year.
-catsteve
