Offset box wrench recommendations

The Craftsman pro polished set is US made still I believe and 12 pcs are around $66 with the 5 off 50 coupon

3 of mine were bent, one really bad 2 just a bit, one call to Apex they sent out 3 more that were perfect. I'm guessing since they are Danaher they are the same as the Matco ones.
For the trouble to check 'em over. Same as the ones in the store stamped "professional".

I have the Craftsman USA full polishe also. They're awesome and the price is right. Order on line because the Chinese versions are in the stores.

I did a bunch of research on this awhile back and landed on stahlwile for the metric set and Williams for sae. Haven't ordered them yet.

Just this past week, Sears had them listed online for 68.** w/free shipping. And as always, the 5 off 50 applied. I ordered a set and will report back once they arrive whether or not they're still Made in U.S.A.
I love Stahwille, found at Advance Auto with coupons online for $120. I passed on a HUGE set from Facom this week at Amazon, it was $49, very similar to Stahlwille and I believe it was like 8-32mm. The Stahwille is expensive but it's not quite Snap-On money and most of my wrenches are SO but in deep offset the Stahwille is notably superior.
I also got the CM Pro sets in standard and metric and they are GTG. I do really like the CM Pro wrench line myself. I got the offsets/flarenuts/stubbys/standard wrenches in both standard and metric.

Got mine today - still Made in U.S.A.
I bought the CM 12 pc deep offset box end wrench set last month on-line and was pleasantly surprised to see they are made in the USA. It's a very nice set. I think the key is to buy them on-line and with the free shipping offer that's going on right now, it's a pretty good deal.

The 10 pc on-line set is also USA, but you get 2 larger metric wrenches with the 12 pc set for not much more. Don't ask me how I know this.

To the OP -
Do you want deep offset or shallow offset? I have the Craftsman raised panel double box wrenches. They have the same box end as a regular wrench with the 15 degree offset. I've been quite happy with them.
These are made in the USA, BTW. I bought them a couple months ago.

Believe it or not, the Husky offset box wrenches from Home Despot are of exceptional quality. I picked up a set for the truck box, and after one use they ended up moving into the main box.
They've stood up to backing the TiMax as well as other flagrant abuse without any cause for concern.

I have some Snap-on XBM series and they're so extremely perfect, I really can't recommend anything else. My apologies.
I have the c-man pro's that are mentioned already, nice for the price.

I have the craftsman pros got them about a month ago online the 12pc set i got was still usa stamped
Stahlwille are at a sharper angle so they are more useful fitting inside things like strut mounts, The satin is growing on me quickly, and the I-beam construction makes them light, strong, and very comfortable. It doesn't hurt that their set has 8 pc vs 5 and costs a lot less. Sure they're not made in USA but Made in Germany is not a problem for me

how long are those wrenches? they dont look as long as the snap-on or mac 0 degree offset wrenches

This probably won't help a bit, but if you aren't in a huge hurry, I'd just keep an eye on eBay and get something that's name brand but slightly unusual.
A while back, I bought a new set of Wurth metric deep offsets for about 25 bucks and a new Stahlwille SAE set with a roll for around 50, but it's definitely potluck depending on who the other bidders are.

I bought a set of the craftsman "pro" 30 deg offset metric set at sears last year for $50, they are decent and were the last NOS on the shelf. I would try to find a set on ebay or something. As many have suggested going on amazon and finding some high end euro sets might be viable also, or maybe even a williams set or something.

Another vote for Facom. Deep offset that is nice for "reaching" fasteners and the satin finish feels incredible. Overall, a very nicely finished wrench.

Another vote for the USA made craftsman pro deep offset wrenches. The sets are cheap and hold up very well. Those Stahlwille wrenches look pretty sweet too.

I know this is an old thread, but I just found a NOS set of metric offset dbe Craftsman wrenches at Sears. They didn't have them a couple weeks ago so idk if they were a return or came in on a shipment, but either way I picked them up. Very nice. Not as cheap as the $66 12pc set, but $40 after coupon isn't too bad IMO
