Offset, Dbl-box ratchet wrenches, SK or similar?

Hi there.
I'm looking for a set of Double box end, offset ratcheting wrenches in SAE, similar to the picture. SK makes a metric set, but I can't find a listing for a fractional set. SKT89400 is unavailable on Amazon (the SAE set).

I have these Craftsman non-ratcheting offset box wrenches, and I'd like to have some ratcheting ones. I have a couple sets of Gearwrench wrenches, but they don't list an item similar to what I want.

Id prefer to just buy the sizes I want. 7/16, 1/2, 9/16. Two double ended wrenches will cover these three sizes.

Those stamped steel "layered" ratchet wrenches won't suffice, I have those too.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I hate bumping stuff, but I really want this style of ratchet wrench. Does anyone no of an equivalent to the SK's, or somewhere to buy the Sk's individually? SK part numbers?

The SK G-Pro series has been out of production since the SK bankruptcy. The OEM for those wrenches is Kabo, a Taiwanese company. Now owned by Ideal, SK no longer imports from Kabo or produces any ratcheting wrenches of their own. Your best bet on any SK G-Pro sets is eBay or the occasional vendor old stock that pops up on Amazon. I've never seen any Kabo for sale in the USA. I believe Kabo is also the OEM for EZ Red as well as some Matco and Cornwell ratcheting wrenches.

From what I understand sk is going to be adding the ratchet wrenches back and are going to be made in their factory or some where else in the USA. But USA made for sure. I could be wrong but that's just what I have heard.

They are available on Amazon now. They weren't the other day. Everyone has me second guessing SK ratcheting wrenches now.

So, to clarify, SK looks to be the only source for an deep offset ratchet wrench?

They are a "want" at this point, not a "need". I'll watch ebay, or wait for SK to add ratchet wrenches to their lineup again.

I did had my Mac tool dealer called the Sk tools company about this. They said they are plan to make new design and sell in middle summer of 2014... But it would be good for me to use at my work that I has to use offset wrenches often... I am still not sure should I order it from amazon.com or wait until new models come over??

Wait for the new models... the old ones are spline first of all, not 6 or 12 point, and have no warranty truly (they offer you an equivalently priced item if you break it). They are good ratcheting wrenches (and strong), but I'd wait for the US made ones specifically because they will be 12 point, not spline!

Sorry for reviving an old thread. I'm trying to find this set, or any offset ratcheting wrench for that matter without success.

I checked Kabo website and don't see it there.

It must exist somewhere. Please advise if you know who sells these wrenches

Thank for the advice, I set up a few searches, maybe they'll turn up sometime.
I'm just so surprised that nobody sells these more than anything else.
I mean, offset wrenches are super popular, and so are ratcheting wrenches. It would only be logical and extremely practical to combine the 2.

I looked through Kabo website and they don't sell those wrenches either.

What's the right price? I wasn't looking to pay more than retail and don't really need them, but after a couple of jobs I definitely wished I had them

PM sent.
I just realized that the set doesn't include 11mm size, the only size I needed for my exhaust manifold job lol
But hey, still a very unique set!

Ive been on the hunt as well, here are my results so for. Kinda high after shipping and all but Id rather not go through hassle of finding a or setting up an account if I can find a dealer willing to drop ship without taking my knees out. (dont look at Zoro's prices on them)

The last prices I can legitimately site for the SK's are
SKT-89400 $99.95
SKT-89450 $119.95

From Mexico via amazon

oh, one more... slipza dot com has some individuals under the name "Bovidix"

That site looks rather sketch, if I do say so myself. But I've gotten great service from much less refined sites so who knows? take a $30 gamble before going all in would be my strategy? I believe they are discontinued but I've still got back-stock from 15 years ago that I keep saying I need to get out from under but its long been paid for and when in a box on the top shelf, its easy to say "I'll get to it later..." sure ok

So I was wandering about a pawn shop today and came across this offset box ratcheting wrench; sizes are 1" and 1-1/8". I was kinda hoping to get it just for the novelty but the ratcheting action on both was quite bad, so I passed. Appears to be badged as "Newcon Brand"

If you want a fun novelty wrench, try out this 50mm Gearwrench. At $40 bucks, it's Worth every penny just to have it hanging on the wall!

I've got the 46mm version for that very reason. It popped up on AWD for $33 awhile back. Will I ever need a 46mm? Almost surely not! Good for bludgeoning, though....

Funny looking at that big wrench I was thinking, I bought a couple of big ratcheting wrenches back years ago on some big sale at Cripe, and that is who the ebay seller is in your link.

Here is a set with the Pittsburgh name on the. And it looks like someone got a good deal @ $25 for the lot!

Pittsburgh 5PC SAE double box end offset ratcheting wrench set https://offerup.com/item/detail/538165837/

AWD? I'm drawing a blank...

And I just checked the largest bolt I have on hand, thinking the 50mm may fit, but no dice. They are 1.5" and take a 2-1/4" socket. We use them as the pivot pin on our folding pole trailers. Mainly used for Pine Pulpwood. The folding feature is really not necessary where we work. It's more for weight savings as we get paid by the ton.

Thanks for the info! I dug around for a bit the other evening, and would you believe that I managed to find a set "New Old Stock" on ebay for a fair price.

Pittsburg p6135

Well we shall determine if the price was fair or not after the arrive and get used a bit. Is worth the gamble for me because I have a thing for the 15/16 size Wrenches. It and 1-1/8" fit most of the Hardware on the chassis of my Freightliner.

While remounting the fuel tanks, I needed/wanted something to get at the bolts in the brackets a bit easier than what I hand on hand.So I went looking around to see what all was available, and well... I've got a small collection now. 20 or 30 different styles brands and lengths.

The exercise did prove to be valuable when determining whats set of Reversible Ratcheting Combination Wrenches I wanted to invest in.

Went with the PROTO reversible 12-point chrome set JSCVT-20S
https://www.zoro.com/proto-ratcheting-wrench-set-combination-jscvt-20s/i/G7589181/

I've been pretty happy with them so far! They have very little "Slack/Slop/take-up" or whatever the term is for the amount of play between the bolt head and the ratchet ring. Not the slack in the ratchet mechanism, but the distance you have to move the wrwench before it begins apply force to the fastener. I did a little bench test and measured how much each drooped and some were terrible, Husky comes to mind.

I realize this is not a selling forum but it seemed appropriate that I mention this here first before putting them on eBay. I have retired and I have the following SK tools (new in the wrapper) available as 1 lot. These will be sold as 1 lot. Here are the numbers. SK 79500, SK17850, SK89480, SK89400, SK 89450, SK 8601. Anyone interested in the complete lot is welcome to contact me at [email protected].
